This is from L’Immortel, a film starring Jean Reno as a retired mafioso who somehow survives after being shot 22 times and lives on to seek revenge (loosely based on true events about Jacky “Le Mat” Imbert).
I can’t say that I would really recommend this movie to anyone…unless you like the idea of Jean Reno running around shooting people throughout the entire movie. In that case, let me share with you three of my favorite things about this movie:
1. It’s set in Marseille.
2. Daniel Lundh
3. Max Baissette de Malglaive, (the little boy in the picture there). So adorable— seriously, how old is this kid?? He had very little screen time, but he deserves an Oscar or something for his performance in that movie. In fact, I’m already persuaded in watching his other film, Versailles, which stars Guillaume Depardieu.
*The links correspond to Imdb or Wikipedia pages, in case you were itching to click for more info or to stare at Daniel Lundh’s face.
